A small, family-run catering company with over a decade of experience, Salt & Slate are known for creating thoughtful, flavour-led menus that bring people together. Their approach is simple: quality ingredients, beautiful presentation, and food that genuinely enhances the occasion. And, at the heart of it all is….

Head Chef Oliver Fox

With experience spanning some of the UK’s most prestigious kitchens, including Claridge’s, Chapter One, and even the House of Commons and House of Lords, Oliver brings a rare blend of creativity, precision, and flair to every plate. His career has taken him from fine dining to developing First Class airline menus, as well as delivering bespoke dining experiences for high-profile clients and royal residences (and now the HLN River Cruise 2026).

His approach is combining technical excellence with genuine passion for creating memorable experiences through food that is perfectly aligned with what we want this event to be.
