Welcome to our August HLN In-Between.

After the energy of the River Cruise and before we return to our larger autumn events, we invite you to join us for a relaxed lunchtime gathering in the beautiful surroundings of St Michael Cornhill Garden.

This event is intentionally small, with only 15 places available, allowing for meaningful conversations, quality networking and an opportunity to spend time getting to know fellow professionals beyond the usual exchange of business cards.

What to Expect

Think less conference, more conversation.

This is a relaxed networking lunch designed to encourage discussion, reflection and relationship building in a comfortable outdoor setting. With the aim of learning something new.

During the event, you can expect:

• Informal networking with fellow professionals

• A thought-provoking session from Richard Bisiker

• Open discussion and sharing of experiences

• Opportunities to continue conversations started at previous HLN events

• Plenty of fresh air and a chance to step away from the office for a couple of hours

• and some food and drink in a picnic setting

There is no stage, no formal seating plan and no pressure. Simply good people, good conversations and valuable connections.

What to Bring

To make the most of the afternoon, we recommend bringing:

• A picnic blanket or something comfortable to sit on

• Business cards if you still use them

• A notebook if you enjoy capturing ideas and insights

Business casual.

The event takes place outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather and consider bringing:

• Sunglasses

• A light jacket

• An umbrella if the forecast looks uncertain

We will proceed in true British fashion unless conditions become extreme.
